Guided by Experience,
Driven by Compassion

Our leadership team brings decades of combined expertise in addiction medicine, clinical therapy, and program development to ensure every patient receives the highest standard of care.

The Flow of Care

From the moment you walk through our door, a coordinated team guides your journey. Each department flows seamlessly into the next, ensuring continuity of care at every step.

Clinical Team

Our therapists conduct biopsychosocial assessments and deliver ongoing individual and group therapy. Led by Clinical Director Henry Iwuala, the clinical team oversees all programming from Partial Care through IOP.

Program Coordination

Your first point of contact. Program Coordinators handle intake greeting, orientation, and case management for working professionals — including FMLA, disability paperwork, and union coordination.

Community Outreach

Building bridges between Valley Spring and the community. Our outreach team connects with local organizations, healthcare providers, and families to expand access to treatment and reduce stigma.

Medical Team

Psychiatrists and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners oversee medication management, MAT protocols, and psychiatric evaluations. Dr. Stephen LaTourette leads medication literacy education and psychopharmacology guidance.

Dual-Licensed Treatment Matrix

These therapists hold active licenses in both Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health treatment -- enabling them to treat the whole person, not just the addiction. This dual expertise is the foundation of our integrated care model.

Our Core Values

These six principles guide every interaction, every treatment plan, and every decision we make at Valley Spring Recovery Center.

Integrity First

We do what's right -- even when no one is watching. Honesty and transparency are the bedrock of the therapeutic relationship and every decision we make.

Relentless Work Ethic

Recovery demands everything. Our team shows up with that same energy every single day -- prepared, engaged, and never willing to coast on yesterday's effort.

Service Over Self

The patient always comes first. We set aside ego and personal agendas to focus entirely on what serves each individual's recovery journey best.

Respect Always

Every person who walks through our door deserves dignity, compassion, and respect -- regardless of where they are in their journey or what brought them here.

Purpose-Driven Excellence

We don't just meet the standard -- we set it. Our commitment to clinical excellence means continuous improvement, education, and innovation in everything we do.

Team Above Ego

Great outcomes require great collaboration. We check titles at the door and work as one unified team -- because recovery is a team effort, not a solo act.
