02

Pre-Assessment & Insurance Verification

Our admissions team completes a pre-assessment to confirm clinical appropriateness and verifies your insurance benefits. We work with 16 insurance partners and fight for maximum coverage on your behalf. No surprises, no hidden costs.

03

What Happens
at Intake

Your first day is designed to make you feel welcome, not overwhelmed. Here is exactly what to expect when you arrive at Valley Spring.

01

Welcome & Greeting

Our Program Coordinators Ron or Cameron meet you at the door. You are treated as a person first — we get to know you before any paperwork begins. This is your space.

02

Facility Tour

Walk through our treatment spaces, group rooms, and common areas. See where you will be spending your time and meet the staff who will be part of your recovery team.

03

Orientation & Program Overview

We explain your specific program in detail — daily schedule, expectations, rights and responsibilities, and everything you need to feel confident about what comes next.

04

Intake Paperwork & Screening

Complete consent forms, intake documentation, and a urine drug screening. Our team walks you through every form so nothing feels confusing or rushed.

05

Biopsychosocial Assessment

A one-hour session with your therapist or case manager to understand your full history — medical, psychological, social, and substance use. This is the foundation of your individualized treatment plan.

06

Level of Care Determination

Based on your assessment, the clinical team determines your appropriate level of care — Partial Care, IOP 5-Day, or IOP 3-Day. Your start date is scheduled and your recovery begins.

What to Expect
We treat you as a person first. Recovery is not a transaction — it is a relationship built on trust, respect, and a shared commitment to your wellbeing.
