Biopsychosocial Assessment

A licensed therapist or case manager completes a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment. This takes approximately one hour and covers your history, current needs, and goals. Based on this assessment, your clinical team determines the right level of care for you.

Partial Care (PHP)

Our most intensive outpatient level. Six days a week, 9 AM to 3 PM. Ideal for those stepping down from inpatient or residential treatment.

Mon-Sat, 9 AM - 3 PM
IOP (5-Day or 3-Day)

Evening intensive outpatient. Maintain your work and family schedule while receiving focused treatment with process groups and psychoeducation.

Mon-Fri, 6 PM - 9 PM
Virtual IOP / Outpatient

Full clinical programming delivered through secure telehealth. Dedicated virtual staff, same curriculum. Also available: 1-2 day/week outpatient.

The in-person intake, including your facility tour, orientation, paperwork, and biopsychosocial assessment, typically takes about two to three hours total. The biopsychosocial assessment itself is approximately one hour with a licensed therapist or case manager. After your assessment, your clinical team will determine your level of care and you can begin treatment immediately.
Valley Spring offers Partial Care (PHP) six days a week from 9 AM to 3 PM, Intensive Outpatient (IOP) in both 5-day and 3-day evening tracks from 6 PM to 9 PM, a Virtual IOP program, a standalone Mental Health IOP, an Outpatient program, and an Alumni program. Your clinical team will recommend the right level based on your biopsychosocial assessment.
