We gather initial clinical information to confirm appropriateness for our programs and verify your insurance coverage. We work with 16 major carriers including Horizon, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, and more. Many verifications are completed while you are still on the phone.
Our Clinical Director reviews your screening and medical records to determine the most appropriate level of care. This process is completed within approximately one hour of your initial call.
Once clinically approved, our admissions team calls you back within 24 hours to schedule your intake appointment. You will know exactly when and where to arrive, and what to bring.
Your treatment starts the same day or the very next day. You will meet your care team, tour the facility, and begin your first session with full clinical support behind you.
Your first visit is designed to feel welcoming, not clinical. Here is what happens when you walk through our doors.
You are greeted as a person, not a patient number. When you arrive at our Norwood, NJ facility, Program Coordinators Ron or Cameron will meet you at the door. Their first priority is getting to know you, not handing you a stack of paperwork.
After introductions, you will receive a tour of the facility followed by an orientation to the program structure, expectations, and your rights and responsibilities. We take the time to walk you through everything so there are no surprises.
Your therapist or case manager will then conduct a biopsychosocial assessment — a comprehensive conversation lasting approximately one hour that covers your history, needs, and goals. This assessment shapes your individualized treatment plan.
Based on the assessment, you will be placed into the appropriate level of care — Partial Care, IOP 5-Day, or IOP 3-Day — and your start date will be confirmed.
Before your intake appointment, our clinical team completes a thorough review process to ensure you receive the right care from day one.
Admissions conducts an initial phone screening with qualifying questions and exclusionary criteria to determine if our programs are the right fit.
The Clinical Director reviews your screening results and any medical records from the referring provider to confirm clinical appropriateness.
Once the Clinical Director approves your case, admissions contacts you to schedule your in-person intake. The entire process is designed to move quickly.
