A Clinical Partner You Can Trust with Your Patients

Valley Spring Recovery Center provides CARF-accredited outpatient addiction and mental health treatment in Bergen County, NJ. We make the referral process seamless, the communication transparent, and the clinical outcomes measurable.

Valley Spring made the referral process effortless. I had a confirmation call within two hours, and my patient started PHP the next morning. That responsiveness is rare.

Why Referring Professionals Choose Valley Spring

We built Valley Spring around one promise: that every referral partner would feel as confident in our care as they would in their own. That means clinical transparency, fast intake, and outcomes you can track.

When a patient walks through our doors at 830 Broadway in Norwood, they enter a purpose-built outpatient facility designed for structured recovery. Our programs range from Partial Hospitalization to standard Outpatient, with a dedicated Virtual IOP option for patients who need geographic flexibility. Every level of care follows evidence-based protocols supervised by our clinical leadership team.

Same-Day Admissions Available. When your patient is ready, we are too. Our admissions team can complete insurance verification, clinical intake, and program placement within hours -- not days. Under New Jersey's 7-Day Rule, we begin treatment within 7 days of initial contact.

What sets Valley Spring apart for referring professionals is our communication framework. You will receive confirmation of your patient's intake, a summary of their initial treatment plan, and periodic progress updates (with appropriate consent). We believe the referral relationship does not end when the patient arrives -- it evolves into a clinical partnership.

Our clinical team specializes in co-occurring disorders, treating substance use alongside anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and other mental health conditions. We use evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, EMDR, trauma-focused therapy, and medication-assisted treatment (injectable only -- Vivitrol and Sublocade).

We accept 16 major insurance providers including Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Anthem, and more. Our team handles all pre-authorization and benefits verification so your patients can focus on recovery, not paperwork.
